Variety is correct, it looks like “Green Lantern” is the next big DC movie to get pushed forward. They've gota director in mind - Martin Campbell. You might know him. He made a little James Bond flick called "Casino Royale". Here's hoping. There are people claiming to have gotten to read the script and they say they like it.

Forrest J Ackerman, who passed away in December, left a treasure trove of memorabilia, some of which his estate will be auctioning in April 2009. Among the items in the collection are Bela Lugosi’s Dracula ring, Lugosi’s costume from the Raven, a signed first edition of Dracula by Bram Stoker and Lugosi, as well as Fritz Lang’s monocle from when he was directing Metropolis.
