The Hollywood Reporter says "Terms of the agreement were not disclosed, but the deal is said to involve a sizable cash payment to Fox and a percentage of the film's boxoffice grosses; Fox will not be a co-distributor on the film, nor will it co-own the Watchmen property, but it will share in revenue derived from it." I've heard 8.5% is the number. Which is less than I heard but more than WB would have wanted, I'm sure.

Potentially related to this is that massive reshoots are underway in Vancouver at the moment for Wolverine. Could it be that Fox is taking its newly found WAtchmen money and triyn gto use it to make more money? It seems that director Gavin Hood is in charge of these extensive reshoots, which is good since Fox had tried to rip the movie away form him before he was happy with it...

US electronics retailer Circuit City is to close after failing to reach a deal with its creditors, with the loss of 30,000 jobs. *waves* BYE!

The Hollywood Reporter is confirming that Reeves is set to play Spike Spiegel, and that Peter Craig is writing the script. No director has been named. WHY GOD WHY? Then again, seeing Ed on the big screen... There are possible good things here but... WHAT?

Well I'll let you know what I think tonight from the perspective of someone who has seen 1.5 episodes of the show...

It definitely bugs me that there's a blerping live action Superman show on TV that has never interested me in the slightest...

It was okay for awhile. I liked the Lex show while it was the Lex show but the Clark show sucked from the beginning.

Watched it, just because it was the Legion and I was killing time waiting for Supernatural. The best line of the whole thing was Lightning Lad complaining to Cosmic Boy and Saturn Girl, "What's with him? There's no glasses, no tights, no flights; this is not the Man of Steel I know."

Well I don't know how much I would have liked it without a history with these characters but I have said history so I was having geek attacks on a regular basis, so cool :)
