litheraThe Hollywood Reporter says "Terms of the agreement were not disclosed, but the deal is said to involve a sizable cash payment to Fox and a percentage of the film's boxoffice grosses; Fox will not be a co-distributor on the film, nor will it co-own the Watchmen property, but it will share in revenue derived from it." I've heard 8.5% is the number. Which is less than I heard but more than WB would have wanted, I'm sure.
Potentially related to this is that massive reshoots are underway in Vancouver at the moment for Wolverine. Could it be that Fox is taking its newly found WAtchmen money and triyn gto use it to make more money? It seems that director Gavin Hood is in charge of these extensive reshoots, which is good since Fox had tried to rip the movie away form him before he was happy with it...
