Per The Hollywood Reporter Disney and Walden Media confirmed Tuesday that for budgetary and logistical reasons the Burbank-based studio is not exercising its option to co-produce and co-finance the next "Narnia" movie with Walden. Walden will continue to shop the movie around.
All of the buzz around the GI Joe movie is that it is BAD BAD BAD BAD.
North American anime distribution FUNimation is hinting at a release of the Evangelion: 1.0 You Are [Not] Alone movie. Which would be cool to see. Please.
JoBlo.com is reporting that Sylvester Stallone is pursuing Sandra Bullock to co-star in his new action film, The Expendables.
"I'll say this for The Spirit: there aren't many films in which a comic book creator's full personality, from writing to composition to pacing, is translated to the big screen. Too bad the personality in question is that of writer/director Frank Miller and not original character creator (and godfather of the graphic novel) Will Eisner." The rest is here. Ouch.
