I would like work to ease up a bit. I understand that things are going to be crazy until I get back from CES in January but I would like not to feel like I'm running around like a person who has lost her mind. Also, the cold that seems to have settled on me does not help things.
And for entertainment stuff -
It looks like there is a pilot being made for Fables to be on TV. That'll... Well, it could work out really well. Or not. Depends on how schticky, they try to get. Part of what works for me with Fables is that these people are everyday people. Sure, there is an element of the fantastic for them but they don't treat it as fantastic. It just is. It is sitting at ABC at the moment, so... we'll see. NBC tried this before and it went no where.
Nolan has no story yet for a third Batman film. No matter how many fans are clambering for a Johnny Depp Riddler or an Angelina Jolie Catwoman - they have to just be patient. If it happens, it'll happen.
The Smallville people are batting about the idea of a Martian Manhunter spinoff. That just makes me sigh a little bit.
From Newsarama: "Summit Entertainment, makers of Twilight, obviously knew that they had a good thing going. Flush with success of the vampire romance, the company decided to rush production of New Moon, the second book in Stephenie Meyer’s series. However, their rush has cost them a crucial team member: director Catherine Hardwicke. As Variety reports, Hardwicke wanted more time to prepare the sequel, which has a script that still needs work and demanding production elements (considering the large presence of werewolves in the story)."
I've seen pictures of the toys of Ravage and Megatron for the upcoming movie and all I have to say is .... What? We decided that they weren't spikey enough already?
