He's one of the few people I can remember my Dad really respecting as he finished out his military career. And because my Dad respected him, I respected him. I don't like him any less now that I'm an adult and can really evaluate for myself. I think what he says makes a LOT of sense, especially about the choices in VPs, what that signifies on a grander scale, and the possibility of a GOP presidency meaning two more conservatives in the Supreme Court.
