(I know this isn't Rossi specifically on the tape. These opinions seem to be echoed, if veiled by the campaign.)

Why are people planning on voting for this guy? Really. He's a slick jerk who thinks that minimum wage jobs are things that only teenagers have, that 'I'm not running on that issue' is a valid response to abortion and gay marriage questions and runs a race in Eastern Washington telling them 'not to let Seattle steal the election' all while planning to do NOTHING to help them out when he's elected.

I understand that Gregoire didn't to a great job. In fact, the thing that sticks out the most in my memories of her term is the waffling on what to do with the Viaduct but damn, Rossi is so not the answer.

What really frustrates me is that Gregoire has been running a pretty poor campaign. I'll be voting for her, but I was utterly mystified why she'd think those stem-cell research ads were a good idea. Granted, I want a governor who'll be pro-stem-cell research, but it's not a decision that's usually made on the state level. If she does wind up getting re-elected, it'll almost certainly be (at least partially) the result of the Obama-coattail effect.
