Well then.
Sep. 16th, 2008 10:27 amTobey Maguire is expected to earn a record $50m in salary and profit shares from the next two Spider-Man films, as well as being granted early mornings and evenings off for them both. I guess I know why he signed, then. In the next few days Sony is expected to reveal whether Kirsten Dunst will be returning as Mary Jane Watson. I'm actually kind of hoping not because she really doesn't seem to like it.
Ben Affleck will rewrite, direct and star in "The Town," a Warner Bros. adaptation of the Chuck Hogan novel "The Prince of Thieves." Any word if he'll be painting sets or managing lighting in there too? Maybe he can make the whole movie by himself...
Meanwhile, we had a hell of a time playing Rock Band 2, last night. One of our neighbors was walking by and asked if he could play too and I invited him in. Kelly is an interesting guy and he sings /really/ loud. He apparently gets noise citations if he sings in his condo. I can totally believe it. Also, he says he rocks out at his place with Ed Brubaker from time to time. Which is a hard statement to respond to, all in all. I just said, "Huh. That's cool." because anything else I could think to say just got stupid real fast.
Other than that, I say meh. Sometimes trying to represent all sides equally is a very hard gig. Especially when people want you to be on their side. I have never ceased to be amazed how five people can be involved in something and all of them come away with different impressions of the event.
