IESB.net has learned, via an interview with director Peter Segal, that the team of Tim Burton, John August and Johnny Depp are reuniting for Dark Shadows. Seriously. Dark Shadows? Johnny Depp? Eeeeeeee. *flails*

Screenwriter Roberto Orci wrote a post on Don Murphy's message board about Transformers 2, where he says he thinks they could probably pull off having 20 different robots in the upcoming sequel, though that would likely distinctly sideline some of them.

Anyone want some Hellboy Adidas?

And lemme just say this to MTV: Iron Man won Best Summer Movie So Far. Really? You made that a category? What the hell?

From SciFi Wire: Director Peter Segal says the Shazam movie will stay faithful to the character’s original origin story: “… There’s a new incarnation about how Billy has to win the approval of the individual gods before he can gain their powers, and that’s a completely different take from the original. So, once again, we’re staying very faithful to the source material, and we’re just continuing to work and try to make the script as good as it can be.”

For the first time in the history of Comic-Con International, the San Diego Blood Bank is offering donors the opportunity to purchase drawing tickets to win a Honda Element, featuring a custom design by a famous Marvel Comics artist. This is your first sneak peek at what will be the most sought after collectible at the country's premier comics and popular arts convention: Comic-Con 2008, coming this summer to San Diego! Avoid the rush... purchase your tickets now!

Here is a nice rundown on the return of Reboot. It is starting with a comic and we're working up to a feature film!

I'll shell out for some raffle tickets once I get paid. It's low odds, but hey, it's a good cause. The scary thing is that there are fanboys out there who'll buy a lot more than the $120 in tickets. When I see that, I always hope some kid who barely scraped together enough for $5 in tickets wins.

Me too. The blood drive is always interesting, though I rarely remember to make it.

The red cross can no longer take my blood. Well, that's not true. They can take it, but they promptly throw it away. I've been vaccinated for Hepatitis (part of working at Planned Parenthood) and they can't tell the differnce between the antibodies in my blood and a real infection. Alas. I gave 2 gallons before that and would give more willingly if I could.

*nods* I'm about due to give some. I've given almost 2 gallons myself. Not bad for something started to get over my fear of needles (but it almost actually make it worse due to some bad experiences.)
