ECCC Day TWO!
May. 11th, 2008 07:43 pmDUN DUN DUN! THE REVENGE!
Today, I woke up much later, took a shower and headed down to the Convention Center. It was a good walk but I was pretty sore by the end of it. I went around and bought a few things, saw a few people and got a bit free stuff as well. I dropped my sketchbook off with Phil Noto and ran back to the photo table.
It was awesome having Holly there. I can't even tell you how much faster it made the entire day go by. There were a lot fewer people at tht Con today but things seemed to get a decent amount of traffic at the photo both in the middle of the photo schedule.
I actually got up to walk around some today. I got to talk to Gail Simone for a few moments and she signed a comic for me. I ended up getting time to talk to Greg Rucka for a bit. The personalizations in the GNs he signed for me are hilarious. Seriously. Very chuckle worthy.
The highlight of the day, though... The highlight of my day was Wil Wheaton. I got my picutre with him and Holly. I told him we'd worked all weekend at the photo table and got our free photo with him and he said, "Awwwwww. Come here my lovelies." And well.... The photo is below. After I asked if he'd found a camcorder. Recently he's said was looking for a camcorder on his blog and I gave him my card telling him to e-mail me with what he was looking for, so that's awesome.
I have the best photo ever.

Between that, the personalizations and the sketch from Phil Noto, today was a good day. A really good day.
