Apr. 19th, 2002 11:20 amProtest demonstrations are scheduled in Seattle tomorrow.
One will be at Westlake Center from noon to 1:00 PM, and may include a
march to Seattle Central Community College. The second will be at
Seattle Central Community College starting at 2:00 PM. That
demonstration will include two marches from the college to the downtown
area around 6:00 PM.
According to a news account, a representative of one of the protesting
organizations said civil disobedience is being encouraged during the
march.
With the potential for a variety of disruptive activities downtown, you
may want to avoid the area tomorrow.
