It looks like the trailer for The Incredible Hulk is up on the MTV site a day early. It is also slammed to hell and back. Have a look.

Warner Bros. will announce Thursday that they plan to split Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, into two blockbuster films -- one to be released in November 2010 and the second in May 2011. It'll be interesting to see where they cut that. The middle drags sooooo badly on that book.

I'm also hearing rumors that they're thinking of sliding the release date on Iron Man forward to the begining of that week to build up momentum for the release weekend.

I realy liked Deathly Hollows. It could have been longer even for me, but then I'm one of those freaks that keeps re-readong Tolkein's 'Silmarillion'. ;)

I'm glad they decided to split it up. Much better than try to condense it. We don't need anoother 'Bashki butchers LOTR' scenario .

I think it could have been longer but the middle was too full of mopey and angry teenagers with no idea what to do for me.

Yeah the teen angst can make you want to put your head through the wall after a while ;)
It does sort of make sense though. They are kids after all. Kids taking on the Lord of Darkness (in thier world).

It would have been fun to see more of what the supporting characters where up to. We see only a glimpse of the underground resistance and thier rebel radio broadcasts.

Also, Umbridge needed to get kicked in the teeth more. :)

Whaaaaaaaaa... even to the end, I kept hoping for Sirius to return/ be saved.

Oh, I agree that it made sense but it was really unrelenting and I would have like to have something else go on or have someone have a clue or something.

And that won't even get into the whole displeasure I feel about the ending and who lived and the kids bit. I liked the book. I would have written the ending differently, though.

I've heard tell that the Iron Man thing is only being moved up internationally. DAMN SPANIARDS GET IT EARLIER!

I think splitting Deathly Hallows is a terrible idea. *headdesk*

But god, I do love that icon of yours. :)

I don't know what else you do, though, because you end up with like a 4 and a half hour movie otherwise.

Yaknow, if they cut it, they might just have an "ending" when Ron leaves em and a "beginning" when they get back together later. It would help skip some of the angsty mopey stuff. Yaknow, kinda creatively edit out the annoyingness as a "time passes because it's between films" bit.

That would work. I'd have to go back and look at it again to see what I think about it.

I think splitting it up is a great idea, personally... they should have, IMO, with the -last- Harry Potter movie. The books by this point in the series are getting VERY long, and the movies are starting to feel rushed...
