Movie weekend.

So. In the hopes of a lighter note...

I was thinking that ENCHANTED would be a horrible thing. The things about Disney that make me roll my eyes. But I've seen some interesting reviews of it and I'm willing to give it a try.

Also coming out this weekend is something on the opposite end of the spectrum in THE MIST. Which I also desperately want to see.

I'M NOT THERE is coming out with Christian Bale, Heath Ledger, Richard Gere, Ben Whisha, Marcus Carl Franklin and CATE BLANCHET playing Bob Dylan. I want to see this. I want to see Christian Bale sing again. (Though I admit both Cate Blanchett and Christian Bale could probably sell me pretty much anything these days and I'd buy it.)

I could probably be convinced into watching Hitman. Maybe.

Actually, my first thought about ENCHANTED was "oh god no" and then by the end of the trailer I was shrieking with laughter and wondering why nobody'd thought of it before (answer: because the script's been sitting around for ten years in a vault, what with Disney not being all that hip to self-mocking). I'm really looking forward to it, and am crushed it's not opening here this weekend.

I wanna see the Dylan thing too. :)
