TheForce.net reports Hasbro announced in their Fall 20007 Analyst Event that the upcoming "Star Wars" Clone Wars animated TV series will have a theatrical launch on August 8, 2008 and then on TV throughout the fall.

Lucasfilm, however, quickly countered, telling the site that nothing has been decided as far as the launch for the series.

Tim Burton is pairing up with Disney to direct two 3-D films, Alice in Wonderland and Frankenweenie.

I agree. They said something further about it being 'an event' and they were stilling 'looking into methods for launching the series' and so on and so forth.
