So does Tim Kring - http://www.ew.com/ew/article/0,,20158840,00.html

Fantastic. That pretty much addressed most of my issues with this season.

Fox has decided to put 24 on hold until the strike is settled, not wanting to do just half a day of Jack Bauer's life.

That's mostly it right now. There might be more but I'm getting ready to yell at some vendors. I'm seriously getting sick of this.

Thank GAWD Tim has seen the error of his ways!

And it's odd how I completely agree with all of his points. Usually I feel like the one on the sidelines, with my finger up my nose, looking like the village idiot.

If they do make the changes and learn from the mistakes, that would be fabulous.. and could possibly make Heroes the best show on TV, evar.

He's hit most of my points. I have a little bit of an issue with how certain female characters have been handled in the show but nothing to make me scream yet. (And getting away from the love stories will help with a lot of my issues.)

Yeah, the ladies are getting *way* mishandled. The only female character who seems to have backbone for more than 2 eps in a row is Angela Patrelli. I love Angela, but I'm tired of her being the *only* female character who seems to know how to handle herself for any length of time.

Everyone else seems to be lame, gets completely shafted, has no backbone or seems to have issues with consistent personality in writing.

Agreed.

Kring should beat his writers senseless and send out for a new writing team.. one that can write a consistent female character.

I must be some offbeat 1% demographic or something. I didn't really have much problem w/ anything he listed there. Maybe West is a lil' corny, but he didn't bug me so much I wished he wasn't included.

West creeps me the hell out. Any guy who decides that the best way to a girl's heart is to ask her out again and again and again and so generally stalker like, hanging out outside her window...?

Yeah....

I agree...

what's weird is not only is he addressing me and the rest of the fans on the show about how shitty season 2 is, but the fact that he actually acknowledges is and is working to fix it is more interesting to me. As how many head writers or creators of a show actually listen to the fan bitching or complaints? Not many that I can think of or that come to mind, also looks like you were totally right about David Anders(kensei) being the killer of the old heroes. Looks like I have to tip my hat to you on that one. :0]

See, I like Season Two better than Season One so far.

I don't at all. Of course, I thought season one started out far too slow too.

I agree totally. In season one, for the first half of the season I had trouble keeping interested. It was cool, but I basically only watched for Hiro and Peter, who seemed to be the only ones who actually wanted to be superheroes. When the story finally started coming together late in the season, I got hooked, but before that it seemed like separate stories that only occasionally crossed paths with each other.

This season I've enjoyed since week one.

While I really respect Tim Kring for listening to the fans and responding, I just don't think I'm going to bother with season two.

My roommate and a few really good friends love the show, but it's not my cuppa. I've been watching season one in bulk, and it moves so slowly that I know I couldn't watch it one per week. I'm too bored with it.

Plus, I have difficulty investing in any of the characters, since most of the ones I actually liked have been killed, and I can't even try and care about new characters, because I have no faith they'll last the episode.
