According to fan sites, the last book has been submitted for editing, so the five or six people who got past book five will still be able to see the end of the series.
So the series is finished and has been sent to the editors. but what about the prologue stuff with Moraine n Lan with everything they went through before they ended up in the Two Rivers?
I can only imagine that he left copious notes for the backstory for the prequel novels. Hell he may even have the remaining two prequels in short story form somewhere. In any case he probably left a lot of instructions for all his unpublished stuff. Given how OCD he was with his writing. Notorious for constantly editing and re-editing. Mr. Perfectionist. He'll be missed. Sad that he wont be able to do his new series. He seemed very eager to start it.
