There is news coming out of DragonCon about Battlestar Galactica.

Now, it might just be someone misunderstanding a joke but apparently, per the stars on the pannel, SciFi is currently planning to show 10 episodes in January and February of 2008.

And then the last 10 in January and February of 2009.

The stars on the pannel epxressed a lot of unhappiness with SciFi in general and this would be downright insulting to them and fans of the show.

I'll keep you updated if I hear anymore about it.

Oh and the release date for the Season 3 soundtrack is currely October. (Since I know some of you wanted to know.)

I really hope this isn't true. Its bad enough that the only decent show, in my opinion, ever produced by the Sci-Fi channel is going away but to have to wait 18 months before we finally see how its going to end is just thoroughly lame.

I am curious about one thing. You mention that the soundtrack for season 3 is set to drop in October. Has anyone heard when the season 3 DVD is going to be released?

Good grief!

People move on. You can't expect to keep anticipation going for that long. Sure, they only have a few more episodes left to play, and they want to milk the ratings for all they can, but if they do this, very few will actually care when the last 10 are aired. Look at how few people finished watching Rome after they knew it was cancelled.
