Grump, grump, grump...
Aug. 28th, 2007 11:42 pmNothing like a day at work to completely kill a good weekend.
An awesome weekend.
Perhaps I should just stay away from people this week because I'm not expecting to see the light of sanity until after my India conference call on Thursday (of which I have two this week.) [Calls, not Thursdays.]
I'm starting to feel like I'm trapped in an ever repeating cycle of waiting on other people to get their crap together so I can do anything productive. It is really, really starting to feel like a cheese grater on my nerves. I've been feeling trapped in my patterns and ruts and terrified to leave them. And now that I'm trying, there is a HUGE case of hurry up and wait happening.
Isn't that the way? There is likely some sort of a lesson here. Perhaps something about patience being a virtue. Or the long trip is worth it once you arrive at your destination... I have no idea.
I hate being grumpy and I hate being angry - both of which I have managed to be today. My appologies to anyone I snapped at.
Come back next week. I promise I'll be worth hanging out with again sometime on Friday.
