Today? Today was a good day...

It started out with not the best start but it made it so I got to do some very interesting work related things. I totally can't tell you all the details but it was awesome to be in control of my own destiny, in a way. It is a heck of an experience when you tell off a major corporation for being complete jerks.

Then a vendor took me out to dinner, whcih was awesome... but I had to leave early in order to meet Tyron for coffee. I'm glad to have met him. He's an interesting guy. No, it wasn't love at first sight at all but I like him and he's interesting. I forsee e-mails and conversations in the future. Who knows where things will go. Next week there is another meeting. So... Yeah... New people! Yeah!

Then, then, I got to go to Best Buy.

And get a new laptop.

Because my old one was declared a lemon. Which is totally sweet.

So, I am writing this entry on the new hotness that is my new laptop. (It is an HP dv6000, in case you were wondering.) New laptops for free? Possibly the most awesome thing that has ever been. Which is why it wasn't entirely free. I /did/ get the exact same policy I got on the last one on this one. Except with an added bonus. The added bonus is 'accident' coverage, so if what happened with the screen with the last one happens with this one? I completely have it covered.

Yes. Today? Today was a good day. Tomorrow is lunch with the VP of CE and then PAX for a few hours. I'm hoping tomorrow is a good day too.
