Update-y goodness

So, currently the plan is to go drink cool drinks and then go see a showing of Harry Potter downtown. If Sean and I were hanging out downtown for such an event, say a 7:00pm showing of such a movie, would anyone be interested? They're not sold out yet.
Last night the first ever meeting of the Kat, Kris and Ben Bowling League was successful and quite a bit of fun. The slight ache in my knees tells me I need to keep doing it. Luckily, there are plans for just such a thing!
I'm thinking of taking a tennis class at Seattle Central in the Fall. Would anyone be interested in taking it with me? I'm also considering Wing Chun, Russian Spherical Defense and Japanese. Maybe woodworking, too. I want to /do/ things. I'm tired of just letting things happen.
I got my bloodwork back. According to my blood I am an insanely healthy person. My cholesterol, both good and bad, is excellent. My iron is a little low, which does account for some feelings of fatigue, apparently, so I'll be putting myself on an iron suppliment shortly. My blood pressure is great. My glucose is fine... *shrugs* My doctor set me up with an appointment with the nutritionist. The hard part is I don't think it is covered at all by insurance. Which could get a little ugly, depending on how often I need to go.
I got a t-shirt from Lufthansa today. Apparently they're very happy that we used them to go to India in February and sent me a nice long sleeved t-shirt and a bar of chocolate. I'm a little confused but... whatever. They can send me stuff if they want to. I enjoyed the flight more than I thought I possibly could have. (Which is to say it wasn't absolutely horrific.)
And, Mike, I hate you, as I think I need to get Guitar Hero II and the case for buying a 360 is mounting slowly but surely.

Date: 2007-07-11 12:11 am (UTC)A heads-up on the iron - the regular stuff can screw with your digestive system. It's a known side effect. If it messes with you try the slow-release iron, which prevents that from happening. Also - just in case they didn't mention it - don't take iron with milk products. The calcium prevents the absorption of the iron.
A few lessons, from the Iron Supplement Club.
