If it were not for the minor detail that I'm in Ireland and get severely dinged in taxes for buying things and having them shipped straight here from Amazon, I too would cave. I'm very close to doing so anyway. Maybe I'll luck out and they'll sell out fast.

Yes, you should have. And I'm going to give you the stinkeye until you admit it. You want that, you'll never see a deal like it again, and you have Prime so shipping is free. Just because it wasn't an easy decision doesn't mean it wasn't the better decision.

It's never inappropriate to worry about money, and I know that you're not exactly rolling in it. Like I said, this isn't an easy choice to make, but it is a hard opportunity to let pass. I think when you balance things out, it's a compelling deal, compelling enough that, as long as you're not shorting yourself badly somewhere else or going into more debt, you should have bought the set.

Don't feel bad about worrying about the money. But also don't feel bad about having bought the DVDs. Your reactions are all appropriate, except for the worrying about worrying.
