The Dark is Rising? As in Susan Cooper's The Dark is Rising?

That sounds cool! At least we're getting more fantasy/swords and sorcery fare these days.

I'm glad I read comments or I would have annoyed you with the same question. I really hope this does well so they can do the entire Dark is Rising series. :D

The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford.

Shrek? REALLY? The first one was vastly overrated and I didn't bother to even see the second oen.

And oh god, I don't work in Movies anymore and I don't know half of these titles. DISTURBING.

However, if that's the real title for the Aqua Teen movie, I am in love with it.

Yes. That one. Crazy long title.

I liked the second one and I didn't like the first one, which is why I'm tempted to see the third one. In no way is this list actually what I'm going to see. It is a list of things (at the moment) that I'd be interested in seeing if it came up.

This is hard work, you know.

That's what I found. I don't know if it is or not.

That is, in fact, the actual name of the ATHF movie.

You didn't like Shrek?

Feh.

Mildly amusing. VASTLY overrated. Definitely doesn't deserve two sequels.

Fuck. I want to see most of those. This is going to be a busy year.

And someone, not too long ago, told me that there wasn't going to be anything good to see.

Silly people.

They're releasing Day Watch? I'm surprised.

I saw it last year on DVD. The first half of the movie is fucking awesome (especially the historical fight scene briefly shown in the tralier), the second half not so much. Much like Night Watch was. The books are great, by the way.

And yes, I'm ashamed to admit I'm mildly interested in Dungeon Siege. I will watch Jason Statham killing people in just about anything.

I haven't read them but I've been tempted to do so. And I'm looking forward to seeing Day Watch. Just because.

Picking up the book's worth it. Anton's much more cynical and world-weary, and the tone is much less of a fish-out-of-water. Making Anton a vehicle character worked great for the movie, but as a result he comes across as a bit of a wide-eyed innocent caught up in events, even (especially) in the climactic scene. In the books he's more of a dour-faced, wry-humoured ass-kicker; he's not necessarily more violent, he just knows what's what. The Anton in the DW movie is much closer to the Anton from the books.

Also, the story is different enough to not feel like you're totally retreading the movie. Case in point: most of the events in the first half of the DW movie are already over by halfway through the Night Watch book.
