Anyway, here are movie things.

The Power of the Dark Crystal. Kira and Jen have grown up and the world is in danger again. Maybe there will be more at ComicCon. I'll keep an eye out.

It seems more and more likely that the first Spider-Man 3 teaser will be with Superman.

Warner Brothers has deciced to entire re-boot Conan, chucking all plans for King Conan or Conan and the Iron Throne or anything like that. BOOOO! BOOOOOO!

WORLD WAR Z is an epic movie set ten years after the zombie apocalypse. Brad Pitt’s Plan B and Leo Di Caprio’s Apian Way ended up in a bidding war to see who was going to end up producing this project, based on an upcoming book by Max Brooks. It sounds pretty cool, either way. (It looks like Plan B is probably going to win.) I'm looking forward to this one.

I'm starting to hear things about Clerks 2 and all of what I'm hearing is that Kevin Smith apparently has something to say again. He isn't just going back to parody or anything, he geuinely has something to say.

Lots of people are seeing Superman Returns. Most of the reviews seem sastisfied. There aren't any of those crazy "OMG BEST MOVE EVAR!" reviews nor are there any of those reviews that says it is awful. I'll be okay with a solid, enjoyable movie here. There is one thing in this movie that I've guessed and I think is going to drive some people insane but... Well, I want to see how it plays in the movie before I react.

Here is the cover for JLA #2 in September. Some of those shadowed out people are obvious and I think some of them are merely misleading.

I don't like the fact that Bryan Singer abandoned the X-Men movie in the middle of production, taking with him his entire crew, to go do the Superman movie. It's bad form and reminds me too much of Todd McFarlane and what he did with Image. Point one.

Point two is I feel they should have waited longer out of respect for Christopher Reeves. Either put it out while he's still alive or wait for the corpse to get cold before making it.

Not trying to sway anyone to my way of thinking or join me in protest. It's just me. But you asked. ;)

Singer didn't abandon X-men in the middle of production. Fox jerked him around on his contracct for a year and a half. They wouldn't commit and wouldn't commit and Warner Brothers asked him about Superman and he went back to Fox and asked if he could do both movies. Singer was kicked off the lot at Fox in answer. (Which was especially stupid as he is exceutive producer of House and had to come back for the filming of an episode the next day.)

I understand the second point. I'm not sure on the timing of that one but I know that Singer had originally wanted him to be a part of it and that Dana had given the thumbs up at the very least before she passed away.

I did ask and thank you for replying. I was curious.
