It was the weekend that went on... forever.

It was excellent.

I went home a little early on Thursday and sort of vegged out. I got my AC cables for my laptop again on my birthday, so I was pleased to have my baby back.

Friday I woke up and went down to Gene Juarez. I got my eybrows done and I like the way they look, though it took me a little bit to get used to it. And more than painful, it /itched/ afterward. It was hard not to scratch and scratch. I got about 5 or 6 inches cut off of my hair as well. It is short enough that it swings over my shoulders when I lean forward. That is annoying but my hair is much lighter and much healthier feeling now.

Then we went to dinner at the Icon Grill, which was yummy, and then we went to see V for Vendetta and I totally agree with the Cinerama. A is for awesome. It is a great film. It was stylish without being pretentious. The begining and the ending are both a bit rought for me but I think that's because V's first big speech is a hard one to accept. It is a marvelous thing, don't get me wrong but there is just something about it which is hard to handle. I really really liked it. Then we went to see Army of Darkness and I found out that Holly has never seen Tron. There is something seriously wrong with that.

I got to sleep around 3 that morning and got up at 9ish in order to be ready for everyone meeting at my apartment for the 2nd monthly "Get Your Ass Outside Day" which was a good thing. We went down to the Nisqually Basin and took the 5 1/2 mile loop trail. I liked seeing the birds and all but the begining part was too flat for me. I can see too far, if that makes any sense. It is easier for me to walk make short goals than lots of long ones and when the land is so flat... I can see where we're going. At least that is why I think that it works.

After that, we went to The Ram and Mike and Leigh and David joined us. It was very good to see them all, even if they couldn't join us for the day our. We were thinking that the next day out could be at the zoo, since the zoo can be fun for all and is a fair amount of walking.

Then I got home and was achey and sore all evening. I watched the end of Full Metal Alchemist and... Man, it was one heck of something. Lots of room to go on if they want but ... Man. That was quite the ending on that.

Sunday I woke up and I cleaned. I didn't get to the dishes because, well, I didn't want to, really. And I didn't get to laundry due to a lack of quarters. Brian came over and we talked and be brought me a cheesecake! I'll have to be very good about eating it. Just a very little bit at a time. Temptation sucks but I'm glad that it is there in a way so I can resist it. Proove that I'm actually changing my habits instead of ignoring them for awhile. We went out to lunch and walked around and it was generally a good thing.

There is no game tonight and I'm pondering an early crash. I'm strangely tired. Then again, I did walk close to 10 miles this weekend, all put together, and that's more than I normally do, so.. maybe it is understandable.

And now I have 118 icons, so I'm going to go all icony crazy sometime soon.
