Do I love Superman enough for 14 disc set?
I don't know but I /do/ want to see the Donner footage cut into a movie. I do want to see that the original aim was. This sounds like it will be a hell of a thing from what I'm reading. The set will include Superman, II (The Thau Cut), III, IV, Supergirl, and Superman Returns. 7 films with 2 discs each.
Well, that means that there are four and a half of those films that I wouldn't mind having. (Supergirl was cheesy fun and counts for half of a movie.)
Forbidden Planet will be released on DVD this year. As will Special Editions of A Clockwork Orange, The Shining, 2001: A Space Odyssey and the original version of Eyes Wide Shut. As well as Mutiny on the Bounty and The Maltese Falcon.
There are /insane/ Spider-Man 3 rumours going on out there. I think that we're being fed things at this point but I'm not sure what is what.
Iron Man is stuck in development hell. Not too suprising. No one seems to be pushing to get it made right now.
There are Lost spoilers and rumors out there about character death. Beware.
Rumors about FF2 being a battle against Galactus. Who knows if that is true or not. I'm leaning toward no, because that's quite a jump. "I don't know what I'm doing with my powers" to "I will defeat the Devourer of Worlds".
Lucy Lawless will be coming back to Galactica for a 10 episode arc in the third season, which will start filming in Vancouver in April. Lawless' second guest appearance will air on Friday, February 24, which sounds super awesome from the description of the episode.
Apparently, while filming The Prestige Christopher Nolan, Christian Bale and Michael Caine are taking moments to chat about what they want to do when they get to the next Batman movie. Nothing official just yet, though. More interesting names being bandied about and I'm more interested in who they'll get to play /Harvey Dent/ than The Joker.
