Very, very interesting...

Here is a picture drawn by Ed Benes of the possible members of the Justice League OYL.

There are some /very/ interesting people in this picture, I must say. I might have to get the most recent Wizard to read the article that goes with it.

THANKS FOR THE LINK!

You know what that team could use?

A Green Lantern! Maybe they should consider adding one.

Well, it isn't a set team there, those are just the options. And there are some very interesting ones present.

And besides, they don't even have all of the options there. Nyeh.

Ah so closer to All Star Squadron than the traditional JLA.

I miss ASQ.

Well, as I understand it, those are the people they could pull from. We'll likely have full time memebers and reservists, as ususal.

Is that Firehawk? I thought she retired. And didn't Firestorm die? I'm so confused.

She did and he did but time having passed, she could be convinced to come back and someone else took on the mantle of Firestorm, if I remember correctly.

However, as Raven put it in the newest Teen Titans, "The door between life and death is broken." So, who knows who will or won't be dead at the end of all of this.

That's the new Firestorm.

One Year Later.

After Crisis is over, all of the DCU is jumping forward a year.

as the comments noted, where are Martian Manhunter and Plastic Man?

And people noted Blue Beetle, but I didn't see him.

Blue Beetle is behind Hawkman. He's dark and for some reason really blends in.

No idea. I got the impression that these weren't certainly the choices or even all of them but having The Question and the Phantom Stranger in there is a bit of fun.

Right next to the Manhattan Guardian.

Pity, out of all the Seven Soldiers stuff, that's the one I enjoyed the least. Then again, I guess Klarion, Bulleteer, and Frankenstein's Monster really don't belpng here. I'd still prefer Ystin over the MG.

The Question will be interesting.

...I have such a dirty mind...

...I didn't parse the 'hand holding the note' in the lower right corner as a hand, for long, long moments.

I like the idea of Cyborg-as-JL member.

[identity profile] crispengray.livejournal.com 2006-01-05 08:38 pm (UTC)(link)
So, um... what happened to the JSA and the Titans, if all the members of the teams are now JLAers? ;)

[identity profile] lithera.livejournal.com 2006-01-05 08:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, these are just potential memebers, not the people who will be members.

Having seen the cover for the Titans OYL, I have a feeling that /that/ line up is shifting more toward what the former Young Justice line up used to be... I would like seeing Cyborg as a Justice Leaguer. That fits, to my mind for some reason.
