Apparently because it is totalled it is a salvage.
The insurance company will give me the worth of the car (about $1400 after tax) as if they were salvaging it and there is some sort of table some where that says I have to give them $150 for the car. (The guy called me back with the amount.)
So, in the end, I will likely have to get the car retitled as a salvage but I'll still be up about $1000 at the end of it.
What a freaking weird way to do business. And a weird way for the money fairy to stop by and give me some money.
And Sharon is extactly right in my old post. (Thanks Sharon! I have the neatest friends who know these things.)
Oi. So strange.
