Can you tell?

LAME! Really. That was a rather pathetic teaser for X3. Superman is going to crush you into the ground and not even notice. It makes me so sad.

On the good (?) front, there is a new X-men cartoon coming, though I would have prefered had they just kept Evolution going for a bit longer. The new cartoon is coming in 2007.

Variety is publishing today that the sixth Rocky film is set to go at Sony, Revolution and MGM. It isn't going to be called Rock VI but instead Rocky Balboa. Let's see how it goes.

Clint Eastwood has been hard at work making his WW2 epic Iwo Jima movie FLAGS OF OUR FATHERS. It's a movie about Iwo Jima that I've been hearing nothing but good things about. The impressive thing, though, it that he is making a companion movie to tell the same story from the perspective of the Japanese. This is ... quite a thing.

There are so many movies out that I want to see right now. I'm seriously considering making the first Sunday in November a movie day. I want to see Elizabethtown, Green Street Hooligans, Goodnight and Good Luck.... The new Zorro movie will be out then... Brokeback Mountain is far too far away but I want to see it too...

The man who made A Knight's Tale (a guilty pleasure of mine) wants to make a sequel but he doesn't know if he can get all of the same actors together again. (It would be on a boat. Pirates... Heee.)

DC Comics will launch a Batwoman title next year..... Ummmm. HUH? (My mind spins with the possibilties here...) The solicitations for January will be out later today...

With regard to the Clint Eastwood movie, it is usually a safe bet to go and see it because it is not often that he releases a bad one, especially if he is the director and all that good stuff.

That's true. I just like the fact that he's going to try to tell the story from both sides.

Wow. That teaser...sucked. Bleh. So much for what was a decent franchise.

...I'm not even going to watch the teaser.

*sigh*

*laugh* OTOH, while I adore A Knight's Tale, I'm not sure they should make a sequel. I think it would be better if he made the same kind of movie with different characters and actors. I loved that movie. :)

Guilty pleasure nothing...

I haven't seen a movie since Batman Begins. Yeesh. Planning on seeing Brokeback Mountain.

And I wanted to see Green Street Hooligans SO bad. Naughty Elijah...okay, I'll stop smiling and shut up now.

Perhaps I partied too hard in my yoot, but I seem to recall one or two other mutants on the X-Men roster that didn’t go by the name Wolverine...

It will be a mainly Wolverine based cartoon but it isn't going to entirely be Wolverine. At least that's what I saw.

*shrugs*

Whoops, I meant the lame X3 trailer. I'd like to see more sceentime for the other X-members and a little less Wolverine, since it's a team movie.

There wasn't really any scene time for anyone in that. They just wanted to use the claws for a neat graphic. The teaser sucks. They didn't even really show anything.

I saw Good Night, and Good Luck. It was good, but somehow unfinished. I feel like it's historically accurate because...it's uniteresting. There's not nearly the sense of drama there should be. There's fear, but it's an intellectual fear.

Still, it's a great portrayal of journalists *being* journalists. Definitely pointed towards the current guardians of the airwaves and those who pay them.
