Weeeekend... weekend...
Oct. 17th, 2005 09:52 amIt was a good weekend. Kamikaze Girls is... a surreal trip of an awesome movie. It is sort of a coming of age thing but ... That makes it sound so lame or heartfelt and sappy and it isn't either of those at all. I might have had a better chance of describing this movie before I saw it. It made me laugh and energized me. I think it will make Holly want to headbut people.
Saturday was Jen and Bryan's wedding and it was awesome. That's really all that needs to be said about it, to be honest. Jenga is so exuberant in everything that she does and it makes me happy to be around her. I don't know Bryan as well as I would like but I am looking to fix that, hopefully. Being at this wedding was fun, the food was excellent and... Well.. I got to realize that a whole bunch of lists that I have in my head need to be updated. Heee.
Or maybe they were updated on Saturday. I don't know. I also had one of those moments where I realized that there are few, few people in the world that I find phyisically pretty enough to move me but that there are a lot of people when they allow themselves to truly enjoy a moment, to laugh or to just be happy... That's an amazing turn on.
Sunday was curl up under a blanket and try not to be frozen day. I don't know what was up but I felt sort of icky and tired all day long. Sort of like I had a cold but not very extreme. A vague malevolence.
Wheeeeeee.
And now I am at work and the main thing I need to work in order to get anything done... Is not working. So. Yeah!
