Point two of lame: Tickets go on sale on Saturday when I am out of town and have no money because of ComicCon.

What exactly is lame about NIN playing KEY ARENA?

Is KEY ARENA a lame venue?

I understnad that you being out of town when tickets go on sale is lame.

Key Arena is ... well, I'm unimpressed with it as a venue. THere are better.

I don't think I've ever been to a venue of that size, indoors, that's been good. I think once you get above the size of converted supermarkets, there are no good indoor venues anymore. Possibly because at that size, they're not dedicated to music, and therefore the acoustics will suck.

(I saw NIN in a converted supermarket in 1994 in Houston, on a tickets that someone gave me because he had a test the next day. Ohmygod it was the best pit in the history of pits. I hung up my jeans that night and they hadn't dried 36 hours later, just from all the sweat.)

Yeah. I think I'm in agreement, really. I saw them at the Tacoma Dome and that sucked too as a venue, so I really don't know what there is to be done about it, all in all. I loved the show at the Gorge and the one in Coachella was good... Maybe I just like outside concerts better.
