I am stealing someone's wireless /right/ /now/. Look at me go.

Well, operation move my stuff seems to have been a success. There was only on casualty and it was actually more just wounded. A bottle of soy opened inside one of my boxes but miraculously destroyed nothing inside the box. Which is really impressive considering what else was in that box.

Operation carpet fix was also rather successful.

Now tomorrow starts operation get me cable and internet as well as tell my manager that I /must/ have at least one three pronged outlet in my bedroom. /Must/. I would prefer both of them... but I could suck it up and deal with one.

We got Sean back to the house to pick up the last of his stuff only to have my forget to have him get some of his stuff.

*headwall*

Ah well. People can hold on to it until he is back and we can give it to him. I have no idea where the drapes should go. I don't need them and I don't know if anyone does.

What else...? I don't know. I should be more tired than this. Or that's how it seems to me.

I;d say, keep the drapes. YOu may need them at some point -- they're nice heavy drapes. Though Sean may need them for his place... not sure what his window covering situation is :)

Did you end up finding the carpet, or did they have to take a piece out of a closet?

I don't need them. I don't want to just haul them around either. I'm in serious purge stuff mode. Sean or Cody can have them as far as I'm concerned.

I just got plug adapters instead and am feeding everything through a surge protecting powerstrip.

Well, there isn't much I can do about it unless I want to pay an electrician to come out and rewire the place and that is money I really don't have.

Well, he would reimburse me for some of it but there are adapters and I have one three pronged outlet, so... It isn't as horrible as it could be. The important to be protected stuff is all in that outlet. I'm on the ground floor and the adapters I got to actually help ground a bit... I think I'll be okay.

Mainly, I just don't want to throw a fit about things right now.

I'll lend you my plug tester if'n you want - that way you can see if that 1 3-pronged outlet is even properly grounded or just a replaced 2-pronged one.
