So true... so true...

Which annoying fan are you?

Ummmmm. Substance. I still don't have a place to live. It's distinctly strange being the last person in the house to have somewhere. I haven't found what I'm looking for yet. I don't know what has been wrong with the palces I've looked so far but... They just haven't been it.

I would love to see some places higher on the hill but all of the ones I'm finding are below Broadway or just way stupid expensive.

Maybe I'll spend this weekend walking around 15th and see if I find anymore places up there. The ones I've called haven't called me back. I'm not really getting paranoid of freaked out about this whole not having a place thing but.... It is sort of... Well... annoying.

Grrr.

What price range are you looking for? What are your priorities?

Well, I'm willing to go as high as $900 a month,
but I really would prefer to be less than that. (Closer to $800 would be much better for me but if utilities are included.... I can be flexible.) I've seen some lovely places but none of them have... felt right. I would prefer to have washer and dryer in the unit but it must be in the building.

I want to be in Capitol Hill. I would prefer to be higher on the hill than Broadway, perferably closer to 15th. I want a decent kitchen. I want a building that doesn't feel like a hotel.

There's an opening in my building, and I think it's $700. However, only one washer in the basement, no parking, and the units are small. On the upside, it's a lovely 1920's building, high ceilings and clawfoot tubs. It's one block east of Broadway on Denny. I don't know if it suits your needs. Let me know and I'll find the phone number to call for an appt.

I'll keep my eyes out for other places in the neighborhood. Good luck.

I think I've been there. *grins* Send me the number anyway. I am interested in looking no matter what.

Thank you for keeping your eyes open.
