This movie is just too much sexy. I need to see it and hope that it is as amusing and fun as it looks. And I'll be damned if Angelina Jolie doesn't remind me of Silver Sable.

And you know what? Some part of me wants to see Gina Torres as Wonder Woman. Because she'd be freaking brutal and glorious. Or even replacing Halle Berry with her. Mmmmmmm. Excuse me. I'm just being thoughtful over here.

The Dukes of Hazzard trailer, which seems a little sloppily put together to me but... still manages to make a case for watching the movie. It's cheese. Always has been and always will be.

And here is Narnia. This trailer spends too much time in set up for me. Most people must know the story... and most of the story isn't about the time spent in the 'Secret Garden' like house of oppression. You know?

Yeah, it'd take balls of solid brass. But honestly, that's the first casting suggestion I've heard that doesn't make me go "Igh". I fear people would scream in agony, but *man*, what an awesome idea. I think Wonder Woman should be beautiful in a "I .will. kick your ass, pansy man, if you make it necessary" way, and God Almighty if that's not Gina Torres in a nutshell I don't know what is.

I would love an actress who looked dark and greek... but Torres features are just too... black. And since the character is tied to greek myth, it just doesn't seem right.

I think the Narnia trailer is fine as is.

Keep in mind - this is coming from someone who has never read the books, nor have I ever even picked them up.

But the trailer - it tempts me to pick up the books.

Yes, yes, you're quite right. Although anybody would be an improvement! Thandie Newton would kick all kinds of butt as Storm, though, she'd be my choice. She has the right features for the part, and check her out in the Chronicles of Riddick. Take out the evil bitchness and you've got Ororo right there.

I think Gina Torres would make a great Wonder Woman. If they felt they HAD to address the race issue, they could even just make her from the Amazon City That Ain't Themyscira Whose Name Escapes Me At The Moment.

That would just be too complicated. I would love it if the found an awesome Mediteranean woman but other than Monica Bellucci, who feels a little too old, they'd have to go with an unknown.
