I seem to have finally caught some version of the plague wandering around these days. It only took forever. Thankfully this seems to be a watered down version that is only making my voice sound a little funny and causing me to produce more phlegm than any one person should.
Yesterday was awesome. I haven't had a day like that in a long time and I really, really, enjoyed it. Cody and I went and had Mexican (and my stomach didn't scream at me hardly at all! Still not brave enough to try having alcohol) and then came home and watched movies. Watched X-men, X-men 2, Hellboy and then to top it all off, we watched Bram Stoker's Dracula. But here's the catch.... for some reason the Spanish subtitles were on when we started the movie. Let me tell you... that was pretty funny. It only got better when we switched it to the Korean subtitles and put in the French dubbing.
Comedy gold. Seriously. That movie is so much more fun when you don't know what people are saying and can make it up. And don't ask me why the movie has Korean subtitles and no French ones. That's still a mystery.
I have a busy week ahead of me. Table top tonight and tomorrow. Possibly the free showing of Kung-Fu Hustle on Wednesday. Kendo Thursday... Friday will be a stay home night. And then the zoo and Marci visiting on Saturday and Sunday. Busy week.
And that's not even counting the things I have to get done at work.
Bleh.
