The House of the Flying Daggers will hit the US in December. Thank goodness. No two year wait, like there was for Hero.
David Denioff (wrote the 25th Hour) has been hired to write a script for the Wolverine movie. They haven't signed Hugh yet but he's said he's interested. Apparently Benioff was hired after pitching a concept to Fox and they liked it. He's apparently a big X-men fan and really wants to do this. Lots of good news these days. Now, for good director news..... Please?
Jan DeBont has signed on to direct Meg, the giant shark movie.
Nightwing Year: One is going to be taking place in the main title starting at #101. Nightwing needs a bit of a break and I think his readers do too. This is a good choice. It will be good to see the character in someone else's hands for awhile. (Scott Beaty and Chuck Dixon are writing.)
There are rumors about a scene in Episode Three going around. The thing is... I first heard about this scene, rumor or actual truth, like... a year ago. So, apparently I'm ahead of the curve or something.
Orlando Bloom proposed to his girlfriend. Ah well. But here he is looking super scruffy for once. Looks like an interesting movie.
Battle Angel Alita writer Yukito Kishiro has confirmed on his official website that James Cameron is attached to direct the big screen adaptation. That... That will be interesting to see. I haven't heard anything on the Eva project recently...
