Transcript

Anyone want to read the transcript of John Stewart on the O'Rielly Factor?

It's pretty funny.

There seemed to be two interviews going on simultaneoulsy. One interview was done with O'Reilly trying to get Jon Stewart to say something partisan or something that would bash his audience. The other interview was Jon Stewart doing what he does, making light of the situation.

Heh. True. It almost seemed like O'Rielly didn't know what to do about him. It will be interesting to see O'Rielly on the Daily Show next week.

I have seen O'Reilly on the Daily Show in the past and it was a similar situation. O'Reilly was O'Reilly and Jon Stewart did what he does. The difference this time is, I believe, O'Reilly is shilling a book.

I will admit there are times when I watch O'Reilly just to see someone get cut up and stomped on but I do not watch all the time because it gets tiring.

Is it as funny as when he was interviewing Dan Savage about one of his books and he suddenly started jumping up and down yelling "I Wanna Go to a Gay Bathhouse!"

Has anyone noticed how much like teflon John Stewart is? I am all about Stewart in 2008.

I think Stewart was doing what intelligent men with a sense of humor do to pompous windbags: picking at him with dry wit in a way the pompous windbag couldn't really grasp.
