Morning thoughts

Beautiful storm we've got going out there.

Dreams woke me up again.

My monitor keeps on making this high pitched noise that makes me think it is going to explode.

A little more nervous about my trip but I counter that with planning! Ha!

Bleh. It'll be 90 down there. Possibly thunderstorms, though. That's good. I like thunderstorms.

Bleh again, I say.

90 with thunderstorms?
Double bleh with a side of super-humidity!

Fuck, it's humid enough down there already, even without the rain squalls / thunderstorms.

Yeah. I'm going to do what I can to stay inside but still go do things. Air conditioning is my friend.

Air conditioning is for the weak!

Fine. I'm a wuss. Oh well.

Realize that I'm sitting in an air-conditioned office as I type this....

I am too, though that makes it a bit chilly in here since it isn't all that warm outside right now.

tell me about that. I always have to wear a jacket to work.

*nods*

When are you leaving?
I have a map of downtown Houston sitting on my desk...

The tunnels!!!!!

Late, late Thursday. In fact, so late it is actually Friday, though not by much.

Thunderstorms in Houston are awesome, but what I really remember are the rain storms. It rains and rains and rains. Take the highest intensity of rain we've had here, and then the longest duration of rain we've had here, and put them together into one storm and you've got Houston's storm season.

I think that's later in the fall, though I'm not sure.

Probably later. It looks like it will be cloudy and thundery and hot.

Dreams are good for you though. :)
