None of you may care at all but I was in some of the best RP I've been in in years last night. It was sappy, it was sugar sweet and I didn't give a damn because it was good. And I know what happens to the characters. The RP was set in the past and I know how wrong things go in the future. I think the little bit of happiness is deserved.

Reading the log again makes me grin and feel kind of wistful.

And I got to say some of the best lines this time. That's always great.

You shouldn't be embarassed by such things. Good RP, regardless of content or the sugar levels, is still Good RP, period. I've already seen the scenes in question, and geez, it's by two of the strongest RPers I've seen there, so I know it has to be good. Hell, whenever I get the chance, I hype you specifically to other players for your awesomeness, since you seem to have hit the place out of freaking nowhere. :)

This was thought of, naturally, after hyperventilating after the events in the 'past' scenes. OMG! ;)

This was from my last D&D 3.5 game.
I'm playing Elihu a 7th level druid
Telral is an elven Paladin.

We spot a giant boar in a room, and so the party asks me to calm the beast down.

DM: "Roll your Wild Empathy check."
Me: "Dang, a 7."
DM: "Nope, the boar rages and charges Telral."
Telarl: "Elihu! What did you say to that boar?!"
Elihu: "I like my bacon crispy!"

Awwwww. That's so sweet. Thank you.

I just... There are times I feel ai have to defend my hobbies. I know I shouldn't since they can make me so stupidly happy at times but there are times I just cna't seem to help myself.

OMG is right. It was great. Let me tell you, it was hard to type some of that out and it was amazing the relief the pose after that one brought.

Of course now it gets to go horribly wrong in some way.
