litheraSQUEEEE. *ahem* I should... Oh Hell with it. The picture made me squeak.EEEEEEE! (I'm such a geek.)
Now that I'm done with that... The Thing will have his costume/speciall effects done by the same people who did Hellboy. Good news.
Namor is going to be directed by Christopher Columbus. The only things he's really done are the first two Harry Potter movies. Hrm.
An open casting call for Paramount Pictures/Columbia Pictures' The Longest Yard, starring Adam Sandler, Chris Rock and Burt Reynolds, is going out to all football players with organized team experience. Applicants chosen on Monday or Tuesday, June 21 or 22, 2004, will be eligible to try out for a role in the Happy Madison/MTV Films Production, scheduled for nationwide release in 2005.
From an interview with James Marsden (Cyclops):
Could it be Famke Janssen who won't come back, since she was killed off in X2? No, I wasn't suggesting that and she's not really killed off. I think what's going to happen is, I think, and this is purely speculation, is that hopefully they'll get into the Dark Phoenix storyline from the comic book. But again, that's purely speculation.
The Notebook director Nick Cassavetes and John Cusack are set for New Line's The Martian Child, reports Variety.
