I don't know if Andy Kaufman is alive or not (though I lean more towards not) but the man has some great friends. They threw him a party 20 years later when he said he'd come back if he'd ever faked his death.

Dead or not, he's still funny. And that's an accomplishment.

However, when he either disappeared or died, he was so far ahead of the rest of society in what he did that there still is nobody that could even be mentioned in the same breath with that guy that I would not put it past him.

Hey, twenty years later, especially if he's dead, he is still managing to be funny. That's more than a lot of comedians who've had twenty years of life in that time.

That is very true. Actually, this would be a joke that was told once twenty years ago and not repeated from town to town by the teller of the joke. It is not often when a joke is told once, and might still be in process of being told actually, and lasts that long.

It would be the ultimate prank to play on the world. And, if he is alive and wants to make a public appearance, I think he would do it on Letterman.

If he just wants to yank everyone around, he would show up in a crowd shot of something where you would see the picture and notice him accidentally. You know one of those, "Hey, wait a minute. Isn't that..." moments.
