I want to scratch at something. I don't know what. If I could just get beneath the surface, to a layer of more vitality...

I want to go karaoke. Seriously. I want to sing.

I was reading my book today and thought that if /I/ for some reason had to navigate thought a star cluster, dangerous stuff, that I would probably choose Luke Skywalker for a pilot too. Not only is he a great pilot, he's a Jedi. Two for the price of one, as it were.

I wish I weren't so tired.

And Jedi have a lovely ability called "instinctive astrogation."

And while Luke's skills as a pilot have atrophied, he's still a good one.

It's the new Zahn. I'll have it for you when you get here, unless you've read it already.

'tis a good book.

And I really want Zahn to get permission to write an alternate timeline that doesn't involve the Yuuzhan Vong. At least, not the way they were used.

Though I doubt it will ever happen.

Well, yes... but I'm hardly the only person who hates that series.

I've got it. It's lovely. Much lovlier than any of the NJO stuff I've read.

Not, malhursement, a classic, but good nonetheless.

Yeah. It's pretty good. I was just annoyed with the fact that he took a little too much of a view that he needed to fill in his readers the general plot of his past books and the movies... You know... just in case.

I know, I'm one of said people, but I get to tease you.

Tony took me one day a few years ago (Ranger Brad too) to go to a Zhan/Stackpole signing at the old WotC center in the U District. Good times. He's a great guy, really relaxed in the temple of geek talking to us.

Is that a console game? I'd love to play that with Morgan Webb one day... *le sigh*

You could borrow mine, if you like. It doesn't have that many songs so its probably not worth the $50 to get your own copy.

And I want to go to Karaoke too.
