Feb. 27th, 2004 12:52 pmIt's a little old now but I'll actually mention that Robert Rodriguez is making Sin City into a movie. Here's an article.
Lions Gate Entertainment, the premier independent filmed entertainment studio, and Marvel Enterprises, Inc. announced today that Lions Gate has been granted licenses to develop, produce and distribute theatrical film releases based upon two popular Marvel properties -- Iron Fist and Black Widow.
Cinescape has learned that the official site for Christopher Nolan's Batman adaptation is Batman Begins.
From Variety - Charlize Theron is set to earn a $10 million payday, her biggest, to star in Aeon Flux.
Bryan Singer, director of the two X-Men movies, has signed with Marvel to work on the monthly Ultimate X-Men comic book for 12 issues.
ADV Films has announced a March 9 release date for Genesis Reborn, the second of two Directors' Cut volumes of the anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion. The Directors' Cut is not just a remaster, but a revised and re-edited special edition produced under the supervision of creators Hideaki Anno and Gainax to include new footage never before available outside of Japan. The second volume contains Evangelion episodes 24-26 in both the extended Directors' Cut versions and the original broadcast versions. It will cost $29.98.
