lithera | A good weekend..

I actually feel recharged after that one as opposed to still struggling to find the top of everything. It was very, very nice.

I got to go to a pub with friends. Hung out with people I don't normally hang out with.... It was all good. Saw Return of the King again. Drank Snakebites. It was generally just a calm, slightly inebriated weekend. Not at all what I was expecting but certainly what I needed.

I got down here on the holiday bus schedule and it was grey. That lingering grey where the clouds seem to reflect the color onto everything. It was still, very still and I nodded a little. Calm before the storm. I went into the Starbucks to grab something for breakfast and when I came out the wind had sprung up with a vengance and it was begining to pour.

Mmmmmmm. Wait five minutes....

I realized this weekend that I have a lot of characters just sitting around not doing anything. Waiting. Not much to be done about it. It's a good thing, to be honest. If I could drop some without messing things up for other people, I would do it. The magic of some of them has worn off some. As it is, I will keep them around and see what happens. You never know....

And now I go to work, though I'd like to vote for nap time around.... 1 or so.
