Okay...

Ladies and Gentlemen...

I want to give blood today. I called the one that I can get to downtown and it is overcrowded. I will not be able to get into it to give blood.

So, what I ask of anyone, can someone pick me up and give me a ride to a blood center? I want to give blood and then go eat a steak and have a drink. Anyone want to join me? Anyone with a car?

Michelle, who cannot give blood because of her visit to the ER last week, has offered to give rides to people. Call her at my home.

I've heard most centers are overcrowded today.

YOu might want to wait till later this week.

They're overcrowded, but they still want more people.

according to the Puget Sound Blood Center website (http://www.psbc.org/) people w/ piercings done professionally can donate. non-professional, must wait 12 mths.

same w/ tattoos.

Actually, you have to wait 12 months after a tat, even if it is professionally done. The relevant info is at http://www.psbc.org/community/programs/_frm/frm_blood.htm towards the bottom of the page.

Also, see my recent post: you don't need to donate today, but sometime in the next few weeks would be good.
