Long talk...

litheraHad a long talk with my dad. While there weren't any answers there there was a lot of understanding and conversation.
It's interesting to me that the type of conversations that I'm looking for, that I used to have with everyone, are the sort that I almost always have with my Dad. It makes sense but maybe a little bit of distance is a good thing - allowing for transfer of ideas that seem new. Allowing for change in the intervening time.
