I might not be liked for this but...

When President Bush continued reading to those children, he did the right thing. The right thing was to go on and finish what he was doing. The President cannot look panicked or worried or anything like that. Finishing reading that books was probably the best thing he could have done.

I may not like the man, but his reaction wasn't bad.

At least he's not like Putin. Putin would have been on vacation and shrugged when her heard and stayed on vacation.

I'll chime in here.

I don't think Bush has done horribly with his term in office.

I even voted for him (and if people want to flame me for that, they can post it to the flamecorner community).

That, and it woudl scare the kids to see the president jump up and get all nervous, etc. Hell, it was only a few mins more of the book, and I think it was worth it to the kids to have him finish that book.

I think Bush sucks, frankly, and his continuing to read is the only thing so far that has caused me to respect him. It was precisely the right thing to do.
