Update and prediction...

So, I liked Angel last night except for the part where Spike is still a wandering punch line.

So... In the hopes that this will change, I will make some Angel predictions. (No, I haven't read any Angel spoilers in awhile. This is me guessing.)

1 - We will see Wesley's father again.
2 - In two episodes (or less) we will see Spike corporeal again. (The ghost thing has just about worn through, hasn't it?)
3 - There will be some sort of Deus Ex Machina that causes it and not any efforts of Angel and Pals.
4 - That silly prophecy about an ensouled vampire hero will cause issues.
5 - Someone is testing Team Angel for weaknesses. Lorne and Wesley... Who's next? I think it should be Fred.
6 - We will see someone from Buffy sometime this season. (Gee, that was vague.)

So... Now I get back to working.

i just had a crazy thought:

the deus ex machina that makes spike corporeal is cordelia, who not only does that, *BUT ALSO* passes on her link to the powers that be to SPIKE! corporeal spike with visions - wouldn't that be a kicker? he's demon enough to handle them!

That read like a spoiler before I saw the ep (like there was some plan to make Spike more normal but it failed), but not afterwards.

That would be cool but I don't think it'll happen. We seem to be avoiding all mention of Cordy at the moment.
