Nov. 12th, 2003 10:54 amFARSCAPE!!! DarkHorizons got this: Last week an insider sent along this rumour: "Farscape is back in production - the series is to be wrapped up in 4-6 new episodes with the usual crew, cast and producers. The props and sets are being dusted off and are being assembled in preparation for filming in Sydney. The new mini-season will complete the story arc and bring closure". They did some checking up on it and got ahold of a "US publicity rep for Sci-Fi, they said they couldn't comment on it at this time but will be releasing details when they're available soon."
As soon as I hear anything, I'll let you all know.
There is more X3 news. Someone caught up with Brian Singer and Avi Arad: A stunned Singer said "Well, if she told you we are prepping, we must be prepping. Uh, great! Awesome. I don't think I can talk about it, but I’d like to [make X3] very much, so we’ll see if we can work it out. I think an X-men film is simultaneously a Wolverine film, so in my opinion that’s something that might happen afterwards, but ultimately I can’t even talk about it". There is lots about upcoming Marvel films here.
The costume designer for The Matrix is working on Superman and she says she's working with "chemical engineers and fabric designers" to come up with something that looks alien for his costume. If you go with the idea that it came with him... that works.
There is more spin about a Goonies sequel. It's interesting but I'm not sure what to think about it yet. There needs to be more out there that is certain.
Ian McKellen has updated the White Book again. And I have to say that the first rumor on his rumors page is hilarious. (What actually happened is pretty funny too.)
The story for Constantine is count to be from the "Dangerous Habits" run on Hellblazer. Should be interesting.
Casting for Cho Chang for Goblet of Fire is heating up. There are reportedly three contenders. Michelle Ang, Kwan Boa and Jennifer Nguyen are the possibilities.
Jeremy Irons will replace Ian McKellen in Michael Radford's big screen adaptation of "The Merchant of Venice" because shooting delays have caused conflicts with McKellen's schedule.
The trailer for The Polar Express is up at apple.com/trailers.
I've heard this rumor about The Matrix movies from several different places now. Very interesting.
Some people like the Looney Toons movie and some people hate it. I guess it is in the eye of the beholder.
I can't wait to get my hands on Ultimate Spider-Man #50. I've never been the biggest fan of Felicia Hardy but I think she'll really make things more interesting for poor Peter Parker. Ultimate Black Cat has these great little cat ears. So cute.
