So... In high school I lived across the street from this kid named Dave. Dave was a good kid. His dad was not so great and there were lots of issues there. I did what I could to help him from time to time and lost track of him - mostly - when I went to college.

If any of you have ever heard me talk about Dave-O or Link and his incessant beeping or the quest to beat Final Fantasy ... 2? That was all with him.

Anyway... I get back from my meeting and find that I have voicemail. One of them is from Cody - nothing strange there. The other is from Dave. I /never/ would have guessed who he was from his voice. He sounds all grown up. So weird.

Dave is living in Wisconsin. He got my cellphone number from my mother and my sister. I have no idea how he got that number.

So... Ummmm. Yeah. That's weird.
