My kingdom for a screen capture!

I want screen captures of Teen Titan and Justice League stuff so I can make new icons. I know what I want to make. I just need to find a way to get the pictures I want off of the tv and onto a computer with Photoshop. Especially since no one in the world seems to have done captures of what I want.

Hrm. I know this is probably a simple thing. I'm just not thinking that direction right now. Work has been crazy and... well... I'm not seeing it being any less crazy until some time after ... Ummmmm. April.

There are a couple ways to get the screen capture:
1) Find a version of the episode online - divx, VCD, mpeg, Real, or whatever. Play it on your computer, and take a screen capture from that.

2) Get a video input device of some sort for your computer - a TV tuner card or video capture thingy. Hook that up to the Tivo, play the episode onto your computer, and capture the screen.

If you don't want to move your computer to the living room and are willing to lose some signal quality, hook up your VCR to the video input instead, and record the episode onto a tape using the VCR downstairs.
